These little creatures are handmade.
They are pieces of mesh that I cut, model and sew piece by piece to create the elephant, each piece isunique, hollow inside but consistent.
The apparent fragility of the mesh and its transparencies remind us that this highly evolved animal is in grave danger due to factors such as poaching or the reduction of its territory by agricultural land.
Each elephant is unique. They all have their own name and personality.
Each one of them is a guide and shares with us a secret, a secret of life.
They are little seeds of hope...
